Last October, Sarah Culver and I pulled off a moody Dutch still life-inspired set up with a team of wonderful local vendors and friends. The best part was mixing up a cocktail to match, complete with Charm City Meadworks' Sweet Blossom offering! Crisp and bubble-y with a touch of sweetness and heady violet, this makes a wonderful alternative cocktail well-suited to all seasons (Mother's Day, maybe?). Recipe below!
1 tsp Creme de Violette
3 oz Sweet Blossom Mead
1.5 oz Prosecco
Add Violette and mead to a mixing glass filled with ice. Stir well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Top off with Prosecco and garnish with a lemon twist.
